Best Translated Books

February 20, 2009

Three Percent have announced the winners of their Best Translated Book Award for 2008: Attila Bartis’s Tranquility and Takashi Hiraide’s For the Fighting Spirit of the Walnut. The award has given great exposure to a number of translations that would never have gotten it otherwise, and certainly made our own reading list grow much longer. Congratulations to Imre Goldstein and Sawako Nakayasu, the translators of the winning titles.
